How to sign in with a password
Updated June 2026
By default you sign in with a magic link or Google, no password to remember (see How sign-in works). If you'd rather use a password every time, set one and sign in with it.
Set a password
From Dashboard, open Settings in the nav drawer and scroll to Password sign-in. Type a password (at least 8 characters) into New password and click Save password. Your password is stored securely by our sign-in provider, we never see it.
Sign in with your password
On the sign-in page (kangarooclock.com/signup), click Sign in with a password instead. On that page, enter your email and password and click Sign in. Magic link and Google still work alongside it.
Can't receive our email and have no password yet?
If your mail server blocks our sign-in emails so the link and code never arrive, and you can't use Google either, you can't set a password yourself, because that's done from inside your account. Send us a message and we'll set up a password for you so you can get in.
