Short. Reasonable. No legalese tricks.

Your account

You're responsible for the email address you sign up with and for the content you and your workspace's people add. Don't use the product for fraud, spam, harassment, illegal activity, or anything that would damage other people or other workspaces.

The service

Kangaroo Clock is provided as-is. We don't guarantee zero downtime, perfect accuracy, or that any specific feature will keep working forever. We back up data and aim to be reliable, but you should treat any single-source-of-truth data (payroll inputs, grant reports) as needing periodic export.

What this product is not: not a payroll processor, not a billing system, not a worker-monitoring tool, not a scheduling app, not a replacement for legal time-tracking compliance in regulated industries. We don't take screenshots, record locations, or monitor activity. We track clock-in and clock-out events; that's the whole product.

Fees

Kangaroo Clock is free for your workspace's first 500 recorded hours (time between a clock-in and a clock-out, added up across everyone). After that, keeping the logged-in admin pages open costs $10 a month or $100 a year, flat, however many people you have. Subscriptions are billed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach us. You can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't refund partial periods. Workers can always clock in and out, and nothing you've recorded is deleted or hidden, whether or not you subscribe. If we change prices, we'll email the workspace admins at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PerfSpot LLC and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or use, arising out of or related to the service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 if you have paid us nothing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved by good-faith conversation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Assignment

We may transfer or assign these terms, and the operation of Kangaroo Clock, to an affiliate or an acquirer at any time without notice. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else without our written consent.

Ending things

You can stop using Kangaroo Clock at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, threaten its security, or violate these terms. Where reasonable we'll give notice before terminating.
