Kiosk time clock
Kiosk time clock: one shared tablet, tap to clock in
Mount a tablet at the door, and the whole team clocks in and out on it: no individual logins, no per-device licenses.
One device, the whole team
A kiosk time clock is the simplest model there is: one shared screen that everyone uses. It fits the places where people arrive at a common entrance (a restaurant, a food pantry, an event check-in table, a tutoring center), better than asking each person to pull out a phone and find an app.
Kangaroo Clock turns any tablet into that kiosk with a single URL. Open it in the browser, and it shows the roster as a grid of names. A worker taps their name to clock in and taps it again to clock out. No sign-in on the device, no account per worker, no kiosk-mode license charged per screen.
Two doors, one truth
Busy sites often need more than one kiosk: a back entrance, a second station at a big event. The picker polls and stays in sync across devices, so someone who clocks in at the front shows as clocked in at the back too. You don't end up with two tablets disagreeing about who's on the clock.
When the roster gets long, worker groups scope a kiosk to just one team or program, so a volunteer isn't scrolling past the whole staff list to find their name. Stateful bits like a filter box live in the stable shell, so they survive the picker's background refresh.
Mix the kiosk with QR and personal links
The kiosk doesn't have to be the only way in. The same workspace also gives you a printable QR poster (for people who'd rather use their own phone) and per-worker personal links for anyone remote. All three feed the same set of entries and the same reports, so you can run a tablet at the door and still let a driver clock in from the road.
Everything lands in the same place: a live dashboard, date-ranged reports, and a locked-schema CSV. Auto-close catches the end-of-night entry nobody remembered to close. Flat price, no per-device fee, no monitoring.
