The old punch clock was a physical box on the wall and a rack of paper cards. It worked because it was dead simple: stamp in, stamp out, hand the card to whoever did payroll. The problem was everything after that: someone had to add up smudged times by hand, cards got lost, and there was no way to see who was in the building right now.
Online punch clock software should keep the simplicity and fix the after. Kangaroo Clock is a browser tab, not an app. A worker punches in by tapping a name or scanning a code; the time is recorded to the second in UTC and shown to you in local time. No card to lose, no adding-up by hand, and a live view of who's currently punched in.

A worker's entire experience is one tap. Tap the name (or scan the QR poster) and they're punched in; the same action punches them out. There's no menu, no categories, no project picker to slow the line down at shift change. On a shared tablet the picker updates across devices, so a second entrance stays in sync.
Because there's no account, there's nothing to onboard. A new hire punches in on day one without you provisioning anything. You just add their name to the roster. That matters most exactly where punch clocks get used: kitchens, retail floors, warehouses, and event crews with steady turnover.
Clean hours out, built for payroll
The point of punching in is the report at the end. Kangaroo Clock gives you date-ranged totals, per-worker breakdowns, and a locked-schema CSV that your payroll process can rely on not changing out from under it. Tag entries by job or location to slice hours after the fact; group workers by team to scope the picker and the report.
