What this is
A two-way converter between decimal hours (e.g., 7.5) and the HH:MM format (e.g., 7:30) most payroll providers expect on a manual time entry. Type a value in either box; the other box updates live.
Why it exists
Time-tracking tools output hours in different formats. Most digital trackers (Kangaroo Clock included) export decimal, so a 7-hour-30-minute shift becomes 7.5. Most paper timesheets and many payroll systems use HH:MM. The conversion isn't hard, but doing it for 14 entries on a weekly time card is enough friction that mistakes creep in.
How it works
Type a decimal number on the left (e.g., 2.25), the right box shows the HH:MM equivalent (2:15). Or type an HH:MM value on the right (3:45), the left box shows the decimal (3.75).
Both fields accept fractional values and round to the nearest minute. Decimal values are truncated to two decimal places in the display but the underlying math is exact to the minute.
