Time clock for tutoring centers
Part-time tutors clock in for sessions, payroll pulls a clean CSV at week's end.
Tutoring is a per-session, part-time workforce
A small tutoring center has a unique shape: 5-30 part-time tutors, each working a handful of hours per week, paid hourly via payroll. The hours are simple, show up for a session, work the session, leave, but the volume of sessions and the rotation of tutors makes paper tracking error-prone.
Existing tools either price per seat (which makes a 20-tutor center pay almost as much as a 50-employee small business) or come with workforce-management overhead the center doesn't need.
How a small tutoring center uses Kangaroo Clock
Tablet at the front desk: tutors tap their name on arrival to clock in, tap again on departure to clock out. Sessions get tagged by program or subject if you want to slice the report later. CSV export to payroll on pay day.
For tutors who travel between locations, personal links work better than the kiosk, bookmark on the phone, tap to clock in at the start of the session, tap again at the end.
The auto-close protection handles forgotten clock-outs: sessions older than your configured cutoff cap automatically and land in a review queue for you to confirm.
