Weekly volunteer hours digest

Most volunteer coordinators don't open their hours-tracking dashboard every day. They open it twice a month, once to add new volunteers, once at month-end to pull the report. In between, the data is happening silently, which means problems (forgotten clock-outs, a program with a sudden drop in hours, a no-show pattern) only get noticed weeks after the fact.

The digest concept

The weekly volunteer hours digest is on the roadmap as a v1 fast-follow after MVP. The shape: every Monday morning, an email lands with last week's volunteer hours summarized, total hours, distinct volunteers, hours by program, top three active volunteers, anything that auto-closed and needs your review.

The email is intended to be the only volunteer-tracking artifact a coordinator interacts with most weeks. Reply-to-fix isn't supported (yet), but the email has deep links to the review queue and reports page.

What you can do today

Until the digest ships, the dashboard's "flagged for review" chip surfaces auto-closed entries that need attention, and the reports page is one click away. Some coordinators put a recurring 5-minute calendar reminder to glance at the dashboard every Monday, it's not the same as the email landing in your inbox, but it's close.

If the weekly digest is a feature you'd rely on, let us know, feature priorities track customer signal.
