Pull your volunteer roster from a signup form

Most volunteer programs already collect signups in a separate tool, Google Forms, SignUp Genius, GrasshopperSignup, sometimes an email list a coordinator manages by hand. Copying those names into a time-tracking tool every week is the single most annoying part of running a volunteer program.

The integration shortcut

Kangaroo Clock has a direct connector for GrasshopperSignup. In your KC workspace, go to Workers → Connect GrasshopperSignup, paste your form's Responses URL (the one in your browser address bar when you view that form's responses page), and click Connect + sync. We pull every signup, dedupe down to unique people (one signup tracked 1,078 raw rows down to 87 distinct volunteers in testing), and add them as workers in your roster.

Whenever new people sign up, come back to the source page in Kangaroo Clock and click Sync now. The new names get added; existing names you've edited or grouped don't get clobbered.

If you're not on GrasshopperSignup

The CSV import path works the same way: download your signup tool's CSV export, upload it under Workers → Upload CSV. The same dedupe applies. If your signup tool has a webhook or an API, get in touch, we'll consider native integrations for tools that come up repeatedly.

Why this matters for hours tracking

Once the roster is synced, the rest is fast. Print a QR poster (or open the kiosk URL on a tablet), and volunteers can start clocking in immediately. They never have to be "added" twice.

The wedge: most coordinators end up doing the roster-copy work by hand because most time trackers don't think of signup tools as a real upstream. We do. Back to the volunteer-coordinator hub or try the live demo.

No signup needed. Add a few names, share a kiosk URL, watch hours land.
